The dance floor's rules apply here too. This page says what that means in practice - and what happens when someone breaks it.
The spirit
- Rate the set, not the person
- Hot takes are the point - a 3/10 with a sharp review is good content. But critique the performance, never the artist's body, identity, or life, and never a fellow raver. PLUR is the operating system: the same rules as the dance floor.
- You were there
- DropLog is a diary of nights that actually happened. Log sets you attended, and keep your account yours - one person, one account, real memories.
Not allowed
- Harassment and hate
- No targeted abuse, threats, or pile-ons. No hate speech. No posting anyone's private information.
- Spam and manipulation
- No promo spam, fake accounts, fake logs, review-bombing, or gaming of invites and leaderboards. If it makes the numbers lie, it doesn't belong.
- Inappropriate content
- No sexually explicit or gratuitously violent content anywhere - avatars, reviews, comments, handles.
- Zero tolerance
- Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors is removed immediately, the account is terminated, and it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
Enforcement
- Reporting
- Use the in-app Report option where available, or email hello@droplog.club. Every report is reviewed by a human. The owner of a log or rating can also remove any comment on it directly.
- Consequences
- Content removal, then suspension, then a closed account for repeat offenses - egregious cases skip the ladder. These guidelines are part of the Terms of Service; if you think a decision was a mistake, email and say so.
